Reichstag

Wednesday, March 10th, 3:45PM

The German capitol building.

Walking out of the other side of the Brandenburg Gate, I looked to my right and -- hey! -- there it was: The seat of German government.

This building could kick your ass. Seriously. It's an imposing chuck of rock up close, even though it doesn't look like much from this distance.

The Allies bombed out the Reichstag during the war (like everything else) and it has only recently been remodeled to fit the new reunified government. Apparently only the exterior shell remained, so the inside (including the glass dome you can see from here) looks extremely modern.

The Wall ran right about where the man photographing me back stands.

And, yes, Christo once wrapped this in mylar.
