And they say it's an urban legend...
So in Tel Aviv you'll find lots of nice shops and hotels and buildings. It's lovely in many ways. But here and there are just empty, abandoned, dilapidates structures. It's a bit disconcerting. I'm not sure what the Israeli economy is like, but the country feels on average somewhat second-world. Like Mexico.
This is a couple hundred yards north of the Renaissance.
