Euro04: Berlin + Prague

Out the Dining Room Windows

Sunday, March 7th, 1:36PM

Across Berlin towards the Mitte district (downtown former East Berlin).

I turned ninety degrees to the right from the last photo and took this one. The street below if Greifswalder and I'm looking the opposite direction from which I had walked earlier in the morning.

The snow prevented any of the more distant buildings from being seen, unfortanately. On clear days, though, one could off in the distance see the Fernsehturm -- the television tower build by the East Germans right along the border to "impress" the westerners. It's become an excellent navigational tool when walking around the town.
